Argh
AWOLism - I’m guilty, guilty guilty.
I don’t really have a good excuse, either.
Work was busy last week. Since the floods hit where I work last month, a crisis fund has been set up and I got stuck with the administration of that. I don’t begrudge people the money but the admin has been ridiculous and badly dealt with.
I went to a hen party (bachelorette party) this weekend. I visited my friend Viky on the Friday night - we watched TV and got drunk on cheap fruity stuff, then went to the party on Saturday. It was in Newcastle, so I stayed in Durham at my father-in-law’s. I’ve never been there by myself before so it was bit nerve-wracking, but it was fine. The party was good - they were all dressed as Greek goddesses but it’s SO not my thing (I did have Grecian style sandals, though. Oh and a snake around my neck?). Kate gets married next Saturday and I’m so excited for her.
Katie (I lived with her and Kate at university) is going back to university next September in Leeds and there’s a very good chance I’ll be joining her. This makes me so ridiculously happy I can’t wait. Theology or Creative Writing though? That’s the question…
