Picspam, part the first
This could be an epic series of posts. You asked for a lot of photos! Himself and I bought ourselves a new digital camera last week - with a ZOOM! - so I’m having fun playing with it
I haven’t done these in order, cos I’m rubbish.

Himself, in our attic, just after a bath. The glasses are new - they make him look like his Dad. The poster on the right is of the Ramones, the calendar is a VW Beetles one

Ivy, on Himself’s office chair in the attic, where she spends a lot of her time when it’s just me and her in the house. If we’re all in the house she goes to Himself, the hussy.

This is ‘Something I pass every day on my way to work’. It’s right in the centre of the town we live near. It’s a monument to miners who lost their lives in ‘All the struggles we have endured’ (or words to that effect). The building it belongs to is England’s National Union of Minerworkers headquarters, I think (Wales have one of their own, unsurprisingly). It’s known locally as Arthur’s Castle - because of Arthur Scargill and that it has a turret type thing. I’m from mining communities and I was born into the Miners’ Strike of 1984/1985. It affected me a lot growing up. My grandfather was a miner. Thatcher and her associated screw-ups with coalmining did a lot to the detriment of where I’m from. Every time I go past it I have a little think ![]()
